Te Ihi for Ngati Porou
The brief for this work was to produce a portfolio of images for my client Ngati Porou to showcase their Manuka Honey business. Production was minimal and many decisions were made 'on the spur of the moment' and based on years of shooting experience and intuition. I had only a short period of time to shoot and shoots in the past have taught me NZ weather is notoriously changeable at that time of year, yet I was totally reliant on it to get the results I hoped for.
Everything in this collection of images was shot in less than 2 days which is an amazing feat, even more so when considering I had to factor in the travel to cover the wide spread locations and situation to be shot and the necessity to be up early enough to shoot 5.00am Dawns and be around late enough to capture 9.00pm Dusks.
Alternating between Drone and DSLR stills, landscape situations to Portaits, Studio lighting scenarios to working with the gorgeous natural light, I am proud to show just a small selection of what was obtained.
